Allergic & Dermatological Disease

We live in times where lifestyle is very erratic, environment polluted, and food contaminated. On top of it all, we face tremendous work stress and engage in unhealthy eating and sleeping habits.

This has triggered many minor-to-large scale metabolic disorders like:
  • Obesity
  • Hypertension
  • High cholesterol
  • Fatty liver
  • Polycystic ovaries
  • High uric acid levels
  • Even life-threatening illnesses such as cancer etc.
The main causes of metabolic disorders are:
  • Unhealthy and irregular lifestyle
  • Irregular diet
  • Extreme physical or mental stress
  • Irregular sleeping patterns.
  • Blood circulation blocking toxins
  • Impaired immune or nervous systems
  • Poor nutrition and digestion
  • Side-effects of other diseases like PCOD and Cushing’s

Lifestyle is a cumulative by-product of a person’s bodily capacity to operate well in coordination with his/her psychological functioning. This can be in the form of behaviour, work choices, food habits, sleeping patterns etc. All this is based on his childhood patterns or habits picked from influencers like peers, siblings and companions etc. So, it is essential that a Lifestyle-disorder afflicted patient understands the role and control of his subconscious psychological state over his/her day-to-day activities. When this control and coordination is unbalanced, it leads to diseases. (‘Prajnaparadha’ in Ayurvedic terms).

Akami Ayurvedic Treatment For Metabolic Disorder

Metabolic Disorders are a by-product of heightened toxicity in our bodies due to sedentary and unhealthy lifestyle. As per Ayurveda, accumulation of toxins creates an unbalance state of Doshas (Kapha, Pitta, and Vata) in the body. With a prolonged state of imbalance, improper removal of the waste products (formed during metabolism) happens and that leads to further accumulation of toxins, resulting in diseases. With the Ayurvedic cleansing and detoxification procedure called Panchakarma, such toxins can be easily eliminated, and physical well-being of the Patient can be restored. “Pancha” in Sanskrit denoted the number five and “Karma” means action or procedure. Panchakarma is thereby a fivefold treatment procedure that is administered to a person for detoxification of the body. This process is also used to treat many other ailments as well. Our treatment programs are aimed at increasing the body’s Ojas level by therapies focussed on balancing hormones and rejuvenating the metabolism.

Apart from Panchakarma therapy, we also include the following in our metabolism regulating treatment:
  • Udvartana (upward stroke massage) procedure for weight loss and rectifying metabolism.
  • Ayurvedic medication fortified with antioxidants and essential macro and micro nutrients to rejuvenate the whole system.
  • Pizchil therapy for strengthening body’s hormonal secretions.
  • Shirodhara for cooling the nervous system.
  • Shirovasti for soothing the cerebral system.
  • Nasya procedure for the nasal passages to promote unobstructed breathing, relieve accumulated stress, and support mental clarity.
  • Recommendation of Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle modifications.

After the procedure is completed, a set of instructions are provided for the individual to lead a healthy and disease-free life. We highly recommend regular yoga, pranayama, and meditation to our patients for mental cleansing and regulating their hormones.

These programs are usually planned for 14 / 21 / 28 days of in-house stay. For more information or to book an appointment with our doctors, please call us on (+91) 9020162016.
