Conditions Treated

Disease Categories — Top Ten

Please note: the way Ayurveda looks at diseases, their specialties and the way they are named are different, and hence the list below (specialties and the most common types under each) is only for easy understanding. Diseases like diabetes and CVD could be comorbidities to arthritis, for which the patient seeks Ayurveda care. A classical Ayurveda care — meant for the patient and not for the disease — will deal with all of them together.

Rheumatology

Degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis, spondylosis); inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, spondylitis); soft tissue conditions (fibromyalgia, lower back pain).

Oncology

Supportive care in cancer of the prostate, breast, thyroid, brain and liver.
